The Twins are on pace to win more than 95 games this season, but that doesn't stop the media and fans from complaining about the team. The high level of interest and big expectations seem to be causing many reactionary worries about the lack of a Jon Rauch out-pitch and Mauer's power outage.
Here's my only baseball-related criticism I have is this: The games on the west coast start too late. As I write this, it's 10:45pm and the Twins-Mariners game is in the 5th inning. I've never understood why they begin their games at 9pm in Seattle, Anaheim and Oakland. Don't those people have jobs they need to wake up for?

Pacific time? What does that have to do with anything. These games aren't played in the ocean!
It may be 7pm in the Pacific Ocean, but here in the goddamn US of A it's 9pm. And that is far too late to start a baseball game.
Also, people on the west coast probably don't have jobs in the morning. I've never heard of a surf shop or Jamba Juice opening earlier than 10am

Let's just be happy we aren't on the east coast trying to watch our team on the west coast!
The best thing to do is to have west coast games played at 7:00 CST. I hate changing my schedule in order to accommodate those people. West Coastians can go to games at 5:00 pacific time (made up time zone?)
